Product information: KO FOOD AUSTRALIA PTY LTD​ is conducting a recall of Enoki Mushrooms.

Distribution: The product has bee​n available for sale at Asian Grocery Stores in NSW, Qld, SA and ACT.

Date markings: Use By 15/7/2023

Problem: The recall is due to an incorrect best before date resulting in an increased Listeria monocytogenes risk

Food safety hazard: Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Country of origin: South Korea

What to do​: Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
