Understanding Food Safety Programs
This course is designed to help business leaders, QA Managers and other staff understand the basic components of a food safety program and how to use it day-to-day to manage food safety risks within their business. Practical examples provide context to the principles discussed, giving users a greater understanding and path forward for developing or amending their own food safety program.
Though this course was designed for dairy manufacturers, other food manufacturers may also benefit from the content and are encouraged to enrol.

Good Hygiene Practices in Dairy Manufacturing
This course will assist dairy businesses in understanding the important role of Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs) in food safety and the practical application of them within the dairy manufacturing environment. Aimed at both new businesses that are establishing GHPs, and dairy manufacturers looking to optimise existing GHPs, the course will improve your skills and knowledge in best practice methods of food hygiene. It also highlights some of the common pitfall’s auditors see during onsite inspections that lead to poor food safety outcomes.

These courses are free to all dairy manufacturers in Australia. Their development has been funded by the Package Assisting Small Exporters (PASE) program from the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF).
