Calbee Australia is conducting a recall of Harvest Snaps Baked Pea Crisps in Original Salted (120g, 200g, 230g, 5 x 18g, 50 x 18g) and Salt & Vinegar (120g, 230g).
Distribution: The products have been available for sale in Australia since 6th June 2024, at Coles, Woolworths, Costco, and independent retailers, including IGA, nationally. They were also available at ALDI stores in Qld, Drakes in SA, and Statewide Independent Wholesalers in Tas. Additionally, the product was sold nationally at petrol and convenience outlets, including 7-Eleven, and online via Amazon.
Date markings: Best Before: 25/01/2025, 26/01/2025 and 29/01/2025.
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared Soy allergen.
Food safety hazards: Any consumers who have a Soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
What to do: Consumers who have a Soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
